Sam was extremely helpful throughout the entire process and guided our family with compassion, patience, and professionalism. The service was elegant, respectful, and truly honored my father, who touched so many lives in our community. From the beautiful casket selection to the moving 21-gun salute in recognition of his service as a Vietnam veteran, every detail was handled with dignity and class. Sam worked closely with our family on every fine detail, and the funeral home delivered on every promise they made. During a time when funeral costs continue to rise, we appreciated their fair pricing and never once felt pressured or “sold to” while grieving. They patiently accommodated all of our requests and changes throughout the planning process with kindness and understanding. Most importantly, my mother was extremely pleased with how tasteful and classy everything was done. We cannot thank Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home in Wintersville enough for the kindness, compassion, and care they showed our family during such a difficult time. From the moment we contacted them after my mom’s passing, the entire staff made us feel comfortable, supported, and genuinely cared for. They took the time to listen to our wishes and made sure every detail was handled beautifully. My mom’s service was everything we could have hoped for and was such a special tribute to her life. Throughout the entire process, the staff went above and beyond to make things as easy as possible for our family. Their kindness and attention to detail allowed us to focus on being together and honoring my mom without having to worry about anything else. The funeral home itself was beautiful, peaceful, and welcoming. A very special thank you to Sam and Luke, whose warmth, compassion, and thoughtfulness meant more to our family than they know. They truly went above and beyond for us, and we will always be grateful for the care they showed during such a difficult time. We are so thankful to the entire team at Dunlope-Shorac and would highly recommend them to any family. They truly care about the people they serve, and it shows in everything they do.
