Obituary For Thomas "Tommy" Indovina

Thomas P. Indovina

Thomas “Tommy” Indovina, 77, of Steubenville, Ohio, passed away on October 5, 2026, at the H.J. Heinz VA Hospital in Aspinwall, PA.

Tommy was born on April 10, 1949, in Steubenville, Ohio, to the late Thomas and Lena (Pinciaro) Indovina. He was a graduate of Catholic Central High School and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.

Tommy was a simple man who found happiness in life’s little pleasures. He especially enjoyed spending beautiful days outdoors with a good cigar, savoring a favorite snack, or relaxing with his tobacco pipe and a cup of coffee. A man of few words, Tommy never needed to say much to show how deeply he cared for those around him. Above all else, one thing was certain—he loved his family.

He was a beloved son, brother, and uncle who held a special place in the hearts of his family. His daily phone calls to his sister and two nieces were a cherished part of their lives, a simple but meaningful reminder of his love and the special bond they shared. His nieces will forever treasure the memories they made with him, from childhood games of checkers to the little gifts that left a lasting impression. One such gift, a stuffed dog he gave to his niece Nikki, would later inspire her love of dogs and eventually lead her to a four-legged companion named Bear, whom Tommy adored. His quiet presence, familiar voice, and unwavering love will be deeply missed.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Lena Indovina, and his brother-in-law, Ron Bennett.

He is survived by his sister, Pattie Bennett; his nieces, Ronilee Shye and Nikki (Ema) Boateng; his great-nephew, Ezra; and his great-niece, Fiona.

A private service will be held at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
