Sandra Sue Sommers Reducha, 79, passed away peacefully at home on June 13, 2026. She was born on August 21, 1946, at Steubenville Valley Hospital. Sandra was a devoted homemaker who dedicated her life to caring for her family and creating a home filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories.

Sandy found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved sharing a cup of coffee on the porch with her beloved husband, John, taking car rides together in search of their favorite mom-and-pop diners, watching baseball and softball, and relaxing by the pool. Above all, she treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whose lives brought her immeasurable happiness and pride.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lou and Eileen Sommers; her beloved daughter, Jaime Reducha; and her siblings, Lou Sommers, Jim Sommers, Janie Sommers, Dan Sommers, and Skeeter Sommers.

Sandy is survived by her loving husband, John Reducha; her daughter, Janet (Doug) Freshwater; her sisters, Beth McBroom, Cindy (Mike) Diserio, and Carol (John) Viltro; her grandchildren, Morgan (PJ) Grantonic, Dustin (Rachel) Freshwater, Adam Freshwater, and Madisyn Freshwater; her great-grandchildren, Christopher Vogagis, Jackson, and Easton Freshwater; and many extended family members and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

Sandy’s kindness, warmth, and unwavering devotion to her family defined her life. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. Though she is no longer with us, the love she shared and the memories she created will remain in the hearts of her family for generations to come.
