Randall Lee Riegel, 52, of Steubenville, Ohio passed away unexpectedly at home on August 26, 2026. Randy was born on April 5, 1974 in Clarksburg, West Virginia to the late Darcy Riegel and Joyce Dillaman Reitkovich. Randy was a Software Support Engineer with Redzone Robotics.
Randy enjoyed life and being around family and friends. He loved a good game of Texas Hold 'em poker, playing pool and riding ATV’s.
Randy is preceded in death by his father Darcy Riegel and second father Michael Reitkovich. He is survived by his loving wife Dawnann Starr Riegel; mother Joyce Reitkovich; four children Karissa, Jacob, Kyleigh & Alexis; sisters Kristy & Julie Reitkovich and many in-laws, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews.
Per Randy’s wishes, there will be no services.

Randy was always a good guy to me getting to talk to him about his work and profession, he definitely was a genius in his field very intelligent in I.T and robotics but wasn't cocky or thought he was better than anyone... he was humble and never judged he always knew how to make jokes to lighten the situation,he loved to see people with a smile even if the joke was at his own expense,as long as he got you laugh! Ill miss you bud you was always nice to me. Ill never forget you or the laughs we shared at friendly tavern! You touched alot of lives buddy and I wish I could of spent more time with you! You taught me how to drive a standard shift car, introduced me to Beastie Boys , Def Leopard, Cinderella and Ozzy music, and SO MANY more things! I'll forever remember when Baba called mom to tell her we were fist fighting over the riding mower in the front yard! 🤣 Forever grateful to have you as a brother, ALWAYS!!
