Yesterday, I was visiting with my mother, who suffers from dementia and a lack of mobility at a local nursing home. We were looking through some photos from a past Steubenville Big Red all-class reunion and from events at Covenant Presbyterian Church in the late 80s and early 90s. She identified Nancy Croner in several of the photos. She and Nancy were in the same class (1955) at SHS and then they attended Covenant Presbyterian together as well. When nI I looked with her at yesterday's paper, we were shocked to read about Nancy's death, especially since we had just been discussing the photos. May God grant Nancy a perfect, refreshing rest until the resurrection to new life and new creation that we all await. --Mike Medley
