Marie E. Brobston, 92, of Steubenville passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Country Club Manor. She was born in Steubenville on January 28, 1926 a daughter of the late Frank and Anna Kay Melching Miller. Marie was a member of Zion United Church of Christ and had been a book keeper at Federicos Grocery and the former Fort Steuben Hotel. She also worked for the Office Pricing Administration (OPA) during WWII. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Arch T. Brobston and her sister Marjorie Miller. Marie is survived by her daughter Susan (John) Rayl, with whom she resided; granddaughters Katlin Rayl and Tricia (David) Shaddinger; great grandchildren Ethan, Paige, Jason, Jeremy (Dory)Rayl, Brooklyn and Dillon; son Randy (Debbie) Brobston of Suffolk, VA; grandson Brett (Rebecca) Brobston; great grandchildren Brynley, Bauer and Brandt; granddaughter Cristine Marie (Vincent) Pisani; great grandchildren Parker, Paige and Peyton; daughter Beth Ann (Fred) Postlewait of Hopedale, OH; grandchild Amber Postlewait and fiancé Joey Lucas; great grandchildren Lawrence Drake, Tyler and Maddy; granddaughter Melissa Marie (Cody) Whitacre; great grandchildren Sabrina, Erica and Chasity; son Dennis (Teresa) Brobston of Clifton Park, NY; grandson Matthew (Michele) Brobston; great grandchildren Julia, Emma and Ava; granddaughter Anna Elizabeth (Scott) Castelli; great grandchildren Morgan and Olivia; sister Marlene (John) Rhueff and niece Pam (Tom) Peterson and Gabrielle. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, OH on Friday 2-4 and 6-8 P.M., where funeral services will be held Saturday, August 11, 2108 at 10A.M. with Rev. Tom Bullard officiating. Burial at Union Cemetery.
