Franklin “Danny” Pompa, 81, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at his home. He was born March 15, 1943 in Lackawana, NY a son of the late Franklin & Virginia D. Cash Pompa. Danny was a member of Wintersville Methodist Church and the Methodist Men Bowling league.
Danny was preceded in death by his loving wife Vera Eloise Pompa on August 6, 2019 and sister Toni Pompa. He is survived by his son Steven Pompa and his companion Julie Eberhart; daughters Susan Guy & Lisa Nottingham; sister Linda Pompa; grandchildren David A. (Ashley) Guy, Jr. & Heather Strang and great granddaughter Madison Guy.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Clint Quillen officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben Burial Estates. Memorials may be directed to the church.

Danny was a good man. Sincerely sorry for your loss. He took care of Eloise during her illness and made her happy. I'm sure he missed her terribly. Prayers for all.
