I will always cherish Lizzie's constant positivity and infectious smile that could turn anyone's bad mood around. When I first found out was when my friend told me and I thought he was just messing with me. But he wasn't, I didn't believe him, I didn't believe him because I don't take it easy on people dying. I think I didn't believe him because I was holding myself back and I didn't want to. But then my other friend messaged me and I checked my email. I still didn't want to believe it then. I lost my aunt from my dads side this summer. She was my only blood related aunt. She was an alcoholic and her body just couldn't handle it and she got sick and died. My aunt's death hit me hard and it still affects me. So I don't take it easy when it comes to people dying. It hit me hard when I heard about lizzy. I kinda thought it was weird how hard it hit me, but at the same time i didn't think that. I thought it was kinda weird cuz i never really talked to lizzy other than when we were in grade school together and i would talk to her on the bus. But it wasn't weird at the same time because I mean she went to school with all of us and I considered her a friend. I never really knew if lizzy liked me and thought of me as a friend. But i always thought of her as one of my friends. I always thought lizzy was so sweet and polite. She was pretty too. To be honest I admired lizzy. And she was the last person i would think would do something like that. It might take every one some time to heal from something like this. Mr. Petrelle- I had Lizzie for social studies and she was one of my go to students when no one seemed to know the answer or wanted to try. I'm glad that I told her how I appreciated her efforts. Teachers appreciate those type of students who participate and want to learn. Her class is one of the best I have had when its time to learn they are quiet and listen. I will pray daily for Lizzie and family and friends and her classmates and teammates.

Even though Lizzie and I weren't super close friends we close enough to know each others names and to be able to talk to each other whenever we needed. I am truly going to miss her so much. And just the thought of not being able to see her smile or hear her voice again truly hurts my heart. This is going to be such a difficult loss to go through. There are no words to describe how sad I am over this, Lizzie was my first ever friend at West, she always helped me when I was sad and didn't have any friends, me and her were really close at one time and then we were in different grades so it drifted us apart some. We became closer again in volleyball season, there are so many good memories with Lizzie, I remember once at volleyball we had a really early game and she came in with pajamas on still, and laid on the bench and fell asleep and then moved to the locker room floor. she ALWAYS fell asleep on the bus but had a great reason to, being that she worked her butt off all the time at volleyball, she was the best setter and will always be a really big part of my heart. You basically ran my overcoming obstacles class when we had to so an assignment. Lizzie was a great student, and a great friend to all. All the kids loved her. I enjoyed watching you play volleyball with my daughter and you were a great friend to Brynn too. You were always positive. I am very sad to hear the loss of Lizzie. I may not have been super close with her, but I was close enough to know who she was as a person and how kind that her personality was. She went above and beyond as a caring and kind person to all, and this is a devastating loss for the world. I am lucky I was able to meet a soul like her and I am saddened by her passing. I remember when me and Lizzie first met and we exchanged numbers and began to call everyday and talk about wrestling and random things. Lizzie would always make me feel happy and always have a smile on my face. You were the word fun in 8th grade. I'm gonna be very lonely without you and your smiles. I'll always remember walking to all of the fast food places even though we weren't supposed to during volleyball season. I just wanted to thank you for helping me through the boring band classes by dancing and teaching me how to play base drums. Now I won't have my favorite band partner help me through band.
