Dear Ludewigs I am so sorry to learn of Carole's passing. She and my mom enjoyed many walks with their dogs, and when that became a little more difficult my mom always enjoyed seeing the pups walking with Al. Thinking of you all at this difficult time. Sincerely, Wendy Maltese (Williams) and family

Marlene (Alfred and Carole Ludewig's next door neighbor) is my grandmother. I had so many wonderful interactions with Carole whenever I would visit my grandmother. Whenever my Grandmother's dog would go up to the fence to see Carole's dog, whenever their grandkids would be at her house the same time I would be at Marlene's house, and much much more. I'll miss her.

I was blessed to not only be Carole's neighbor for many years but also her friend. She loved to talk about her kids and grandchildren. She sure loved her dogs too. I always enjoyed visiting with her. I'm so very sorry.
