Obituary For Yolandia M. Mantos

Yolandia M. Mantos, 50, of Bloomingdale, Ohio, a daughter of James and Kathy Robinson, passed away early Wednesday morning, July 3, 2024, after a long battle of sickness as a result of her leukemia treatment. She fought the hardest battles as the strong woman she was. She is preceded in death by her mother in-law Terry Mantos and her beloved uncles Jerry and Jim.

She leaves behind her devoted husband Paul Mantos, her two loving daughters, Chelsey (Dan) Cline and Mariah (Nate) Spindler and “her little people” Kinsley, Karter, and Harper. She will also be missed dearly by her sister Shannon (Eric) Conaway, brother Rick (Jen) White, father-in-law James Mantos and many other family members and friends.

Her grandkids were her world and they loved their Gigi beyond words. Yolandia devoted her life to her family and many years of taking loving care of patients as an aide at Trinity, Lifeline, and Weirton hospitals. She was a bright smile in everyone’s life and always made sure she said what she was thinking.

The family would like to thank the many friends, care givers, nurses and doctors who have taken care of Yolandia over the last few years.

Visitation will be held at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Monday July 8, 2024 from 3 p.m. until the time of service at 6 p.m. with Rev. Mike Mantos officiating.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Yolandia's memory to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at www.mygiving.lls.org.

Sincere sympathies to Yolandia's family. I am fortunate to have worked with Yolandia at Trinity East's Tower 9. Yolandia provided wonderful patient care, and she shared her beautiful smile to everyone all along the way. '

I was fortunate enough to meet Yolandia and her family while we were still in high school. I will never ever forget her infectious laugh and beautiful smile, and the fact that she was a helluva fighter all the way to the end.... I pray you know just how much you were loved, Yolandia. You will certainly be missed.

I can remember back to when my brother n I were little and she'd watch us but the ONE memory that stands out the MOST is,I'm not sure what event it was but her and Shannon dancing circles with me to "Old time Rock n Roll". For decades now, everytime I hear that song, my first thought is her and that particular memory. Never understood why we called her it as a child until we were older but she'll always *YoYo* to me. May you finally be at peace. You put up a hell of a fight, now you can rest easy. Prayers for your family ❤️❤️❤️

I loved Yolandia! I worked with her at Lifeline hospital for many years and she was a wonderful person, coworker and caregiver. We had great conversations! I loved running into her occasionally at Weirton Medical Center too! I loved her family stories and how much happiness they brought her. I will miss her greatly! Her family is in my thoughts and prayers.
