Wilma J. Parrish, 77, of Wintersville, Ohio died Sunday, September 8, 2013 at her home. She was born June 3, 1936 in Steubenville, OH a daughter of the late Felix and Elizabeth Solter Strupe. She was a member of Wintersville American Legion Post 557 Women’s Auxiliary. She worked at the American Legion in Wintersville, FOP, Roman Lee and Gumbas. Wilma was preceded in death by her 1st husband Berton Westfall; 2nd husband Donald Parrish, Sr.; two brothers Leroy and Marion Strupe; sister Elsie Pittman and two step daughters Jackie Leas and Patty Rambo. Surviving are her children Brenda (Roger) Hilliard of Richmond, OH, Rita Gerber of Steubenville, OH, Alice (Dana) Rowcliffe of Poquoson, VA, David R. (Phyllis) Westfall of Toronto, OH and Robert (Shelly) Parrish of Wintersville, OH; step children Donald Parrish, Jr. and Bruce Parrish both of Milwaukee, WI; sisters Helen Lemaster and Patty Tickerhoof; 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Friends may call at Dunlope - Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville Wednesday 6 – 9 p.m. where a service will be held Thursday 11 a.m. with Pastor Carol Smith officiating. Burial at Cross Creek Cemetery.
