William R. “Bill” Carr, 65, of Wintersville, OH died Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at Trinity West. He was born in Steubenville on September 26, 1944 the son of the late J. Richard and Mary Crossley Carr. Bill was retired from Hertz Rental Car. He had attended First Westminster Presbyterian Church and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Bill was an avid Ohio State fan. He graduated from Steubenville Big Red and attended college and majored in business He is survived by his wife Geraldine “Gerry” Billcheck Carr; sister Bonnie (Donald) Barton of Wintersville; brothers-in-law George (Judi) Billcheck of Weirton, WV, Steve (Mary Ann) Billcheck and Robert (Donna) Billcheck, both of Richmond, VA and his beloved pets Boomer and Muffin. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, OH on Saturday, May 1, 2010 from 12:30p.m. until time of service at 2:30p.m. with Rev. R. Curt Watkins officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to: Jefferson County Humane Society of The Ohio State University Marching Band.

All of us at Applebee's were saddened by the passing of Bill. We all enjoyed the time that we got to spend with him. He will be definitley missed sitting at the bar in his Ohio State jacket at happy hour. Our thought's are with his family in this time of sorrow.
