William R. Moodie, 92, of Steubenville, Ohio died Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at The Laurels. He was born October 22, 1918 in Scotland a son of the late Robert & Agnes Reid Moodie. He was a member of First Westminster Presbyterian Church; Masonic Lodge 691 F& AM; Steubenville Shrine Club; V.F.W. and WWII Army veteran. Preceding Bill in death were his wife Mary Alexander Moodie and three brothers James, Robert & John. Bill’s life interests were his family, dog Buffy, golf and farming. Surviving are his son Robert W. (Rose) Moodie of Richmond; grandchildren Steven Moodie, Alana (Ted) Wood & Meghan (Henry) Carter; great grandchildren Bodie & Kayla Wood and MaKenzie & MaKenna Carter.Private services and entombment.Memorials may be directed to First Westminster Church.
