William R. “Bill” McFadden, 83, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away on Friday, August 6, 2021 at Valley Hospice. He was born September 12, 1937 in Steubenville, a son of the late Kermit & Elma Brady McFadden. He retired in 1994 from Weirton Steel Co. BOP and was a member of Weirton Steel 25 Year Club and Wintersville U.M. Church. Bill was an avid golfer, holding memberships at Steubenville Country Club and Red Oaks. He served in the US Air Force. Preceding Bill in death were his wife Judith K. Ensell McFadden (2005); son William Shawn McFadden (1993) and brother Terry. Bill loved his three “B’s” … Big Red, Buckeyes and Browns. Bill is survived by his daughter Brenda (Gerry) Gallof; grandson Liam Shawn McFadden-Ackman; euchre partner & caregiver Vanna Krupinski; and brothers Wayne (Debbie) McFadden & Robert (Sandy) McFadden. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Larry Garrison officiating.
