William “Bill” P. Koniski, 72, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away on Sunday March 3, 2024 as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Bill was born in Steubenville, Ohio on December 27, 1951 a son of the late Stanley & Verna Poprik Koniski. He enjoyed camping and walking in Fernwood State Forest & Friendship Park normally accompanied by his late canine companion, Layla. After earning his degree from Jefferson Technical College, he went on to own the Computer Depot in Wintersville before retiring from the Hall Company as a Machinist. Bill spent most of his summers working for the Jefferson County Fair Board.
Bill is survived by his son Brian (Megan) Koniski, grandson Noah Koniski and brother Stanley “Butch” (Connie) Koniski. He is preceded in death by his first wife Carol Lynn Fithen Koniski and brother Thomas Albert Koniski.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Thursday from 4 pm to 6 pm.
