Dear Reene, So sorry to hear of your father's passing. Every time I see or hear your name, I am reminded of the time MY father went to the drive-in in his pj's, looking for you and Susan! Hope that memory brings a smile to your face!!

Memories, memories, memories. As a kid, listening to Jonathan Winters and Bill Cosby in the rec-room. Playin around with the short wave portable radio in the downstairs bathroom. The VW. The TR4. The Porsche. The Jag. Bill showing me the ham radio and all his log books. Him telling me that Jose' was not going to eat my feet only take the laces out of my shoes, remove my shoes and then remove, stretch and pretty much ruin my socks, but it would be OK. Jose' is a neat little guy. Everything with a smile on his face. His burr-headed hair cut that in the 60's and 70's I thought was crazy ( I sport the same cut now ). Always with the jokes and teasing and generally having fun. All this and I was just his son-in-law's little brother. I can only imagine what a great father-in-law to you he has been all these years Mikie. And what a great Dad he's been to you Reen. Emily, you have truly enjoyed a one-lf-a-kind Grandpa in Bill. Know that we are praying for you guys, down here in Savannah, and love you all beyond words. I miss you terribly at times but know the Lord has good stuff ahead for all of us. Blessings be upon the Cole's.

Welcome home all.....I was so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. He was a wonderful & kind gentleman. When I saw him a couple years ago, he talked mostly of you & your family & how proud he was of you all & how much he loved you. It is difficult to lose a parent but I am sure he is with alot of loved ones & friends up there. HUGZ to you all.

Maureen, I recognized the name when I saw your Dad's obituary. I think my Mom ( Helen Drylie ) was your Brownie/Girl Scout Leader many years ago. Am I correct ?? Sorry for your loss. It is hard to give up a parent, no matter their age. Thinking of you.
