William N. Clark 88 of Steubenville, Ohio died Saturday, July 17, 2004 at Trinity Medical Center, West. He was born in Moundsville, WV on December 12, 1915 son of the late Arch D. and Mary K. Underdonk Clark. Preceded in death by two brothers Arch and Jacob Clark and a sister Essie Spear. William retired from National Steel as an Industrial Engineer. He was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Steubenville, Marshall Union Lodge # 8 A.F. & A.M. in Moundsville and Osiris Temple, Wheeling, WV. He piloted P51 in Italy during WWII and upon returning was an instructor in local air force reserve units. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Kyrc Clark; daughter Carole Riley and her husband Dennis P. of St. Louis, MO; son William D. “Bill” Clark and his wife Mary Leah of Follansbee, WV and three grandsons, Eric W. Riley, William D. Clark Jr. and Oliver L. Clark. Friends may call at the Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. with Fr. Steven McKeown officiating. Burial at Park View Memorial Gardens, Wheeling. Masonic graveside services to be conducted.
