William L. “Wild Bill” Snyder, 64, of Wintersville, died Friday, August 19, 2016 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. He was born in Steubenville on May 23, 1952 the son of the late Brady and Cora Jean Fix Snyder. He retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel as a millwright, finishing out his career in the blast furnace. William was a proud member of ABATE and was very involved with the motorcycle memorial foundation and was also a member of Unionport Masonic Lodge #333. He is survived by his children Brady (Lisa) Snyder and Danelle (Fiancé Nick Jameson) Snyder both of Wintersville; five grandchildren Billy, Sidney and Addison Snyder and Nicholas and Cadence Jameson; and his aunt Zana Pawlin of Wintersville. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. with Pastor Jeremy Ellis officiating. Gravesite services will follow at Fort Steuben. Masonic services 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
