William John “Bill” Miller, 78, of Steubenville, died Sunday, January 3, 2016 at Trinity West ER. He was born in Washington, PA on October 28, 1937 the son of the late Lawrence Miller and Sarah Kughn Miller Forcone. He was preceded in death by a brother Lawrence Miller Jr.; sister Patricia Lyons; grandson Johnathon Burch; step-father Guy Forcone; step-sister Betty Truini Kenefick. Bill retired as a reelman from Weirton Steel Co. and was a member of North River Avenue Christian Church in Toronto and Tri State Harmonizers. He is survived by his wife Kathleen Louise Eckard Miller; children Kathleen Burch and Billy D. Miller both of Steubenville and Judith (David) Powers of Knoxville, TN; six grandchildren Kevin, Matthew and Sarah Burch, Kristina (Eric Clark) Creel, Samantha Creel and Joshua Powers; an expected great grandson due next month; sister Sally (Joseph) Easton; special brother & sister-in-laws James C. (Mary) Eckard of Toronto; brother-in-law Richard (Jennifer) Lyons of Austintown; sister-in-law Lila Miller of Orient, OH; step-brother Guy J. Forcone; and several nieces & nephews. Per Bill’s request, no visitation will be held. Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to North River Avenue Christian Church, 207 North River Avenue, Toronto, OH 43964.
