William J. “Bill” Medley, 68, of Steubenville, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018. He was born on January 25, 1950, son of the late William E Speer and Donna Lee (Medley)DeSarro. Bill had served in the Marine Corps and was retired from the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, where he worked in the Coke Plant.

He was also proceeded in death by his siblings Richard Sadler and Barbara Smith.

He is survived by his daughter Christy (Adam) Lutz of Bethel Park, PA, grandson Nathaniel Lutz, brother Vernon (Mitzie) Sadler of Winterville OH, sisters Jacqueline Hubbard (Doug) of Weirton, WV, Alberta Canterbury of Steubenville, OH and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Bill is also survived by recently found siblings Bertha (Bennie) Lamp of Chester WV, Patrick Speer, of Chester WV, Wayne Speer of Weirton WV.

Family and Friends received on Friday, August 3, 2018 from 6:30 p.m. until the memorial service at 7:30 p.m.at Shorac Funeral Home, 611 North 4th Street, with Rev. Bill Westling officiating
