William Harvey “Fat Billy” Ross 66 of Wintersville, OH died Thursday, October 9, 2003 at Trinity West ER. He was born in Steubenville on May 15, 1937 a son of the late William S. and Dorohty Ohlemacher Ross. He was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, Steubenville, Polish National Alliance, Polish Athletic Club and Knights of St. Anthony. Steubenville High School graduate, class of 1955. He was retired from Weirton Steel, where he worked in the Coke Plant. He was preceded in death by a brother George H. Ross. He is survived by his wife Lucretia “Toots” Peterson Ross, son Richard D. Ross of Steubenville, daughter Robin Renee Ross of Mingo Junction, OH and son Rodney S. (Dawn) Ross of Peoria, AZ, sister Dorothy (Wayne) Hackathorne of Wintersville, grandchildren Jeremy and Jenna Ross of Mingo Junction and Roxanne and Erik Ross of AZ. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, OH on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9p.m., where funeral services will be held on Monday at 11a.m. with Sonny Shoe officiating.
