William Crabbe Jr. 75 of Steubenville, Ohio died Wednesday December 4, 2002 at his residence of natural causes. He was born in Steubenville on March 4, 1927 a son of the late William and Margaret Ferguson Crabbe. He was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, Steubenville. He was a graduate of Steubenville High School and received his B.S. degree in engineering from Georgia Tech where he also played baseball and basketball. He served in US Navy.  Commissioner Crabbe was preceded in death by his brother George N. Crabbe and one nephew Harold Hill, Sr. Surviving are three nieces Mrs. Kathy Hill of Ohio, Mrs. David (Cindy) Bartholomew of Follansbee, WV and Mrs. Karen Parker of Florida; four great nieces and two great nephews. Private family services and burial were held at Union Cemetery, Steubenville, Ohio Friends are invited to attend services at 3 p.m. Sunday at Zion United Church of Christ, 139 North Fifth Street, Steubenville with Rev.
