I wanted to say, that I loved Mr. Moran dearly. I knew him for many years, and ejoyed growing up beside him and his wife at Hollow Rock. He was a wonderful man. I know he is in heaven. I too lost my father Jack Herrin, on June 21st,2008. I know they are catching up on good times from Hollow Rock, in heaven. I will one day join them there, and we will all be able to sing the old hymns together. May God bless you.

I knew Mr. Moran when I was very young. I loved his smile and he was always a kind man. I was so taken by his total aura that I called him "Handsome", only it came out as "hamsom". To the extended family, I am so sorry for your loss, but we can all take great comfort in knowing that he is with God and his family.

Dear friends: How sorry we wre to hear of Art's passing! He was a friend and fellow worker on the Board at Hollow Rock. We were neighbors at the camp and know he is well at "home" with his beloved family. He was always a joy. Our prayers are with you during these days.

To the extended family of Mr. Moran...my sincere condolences. I grew up knowing Mr. Moran and his wife, Audrey, at Hollow Rock Campmeeting. They had the cottage right next to us for a long time, and every year it was a pleasure to spend ten days as their neighbor! Mr. Moran, even last year at camp, recognized me instantly, and always had a bear hug for me...what a great man. My father died the very same day as Art, and I'm sure that they'll recognize each other in Heaven...Mr. Moran, you made the world a better place, and I'm certain that there will be lots of people in Heaven because of your witness, and your love for others...you were a great example of what a real Christian is. It was an honor to know you, and you will be missed greatly. Bill Herrin, Wake Forest, NC

I will always have good memories of Uncle Art. He and my Dad, Jeff Moran, had good times together in their retirement years as well as the many stories told of all three brothers and their antics as they grew up. I believe Uncle Art was a great prayer warrior and witness for Jesus Christ. I will never forget the story of Uncle Art and Dad getting saved and going home and pushing Pap Moran onto the floor to make have accept Jesus too. It didn't work that night but soon after Pap Moran got saved. What a great witness to leave behind. I'm sure there is a great reunion going on in heaven today!

We attend Finley Methodist Church, and we knew Mr. Moran. He talked one time in church about the great meals his mother prepared and how the whole family would gather around the table and eat. He said he was looking forward to heaven when he would be with his loved ones and gather together once again. We had in our home for the last couple of birthdays and for Christmas one year. His sharp mind and great sense of humor always amazed us, but most of all you knew he loved the Lord. It was a great blessing to us to visit with him on these occasions. John & Lois Flouhouse
