William A. Dreyer, 88, of Toronto, Ohio died Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at Trinity West. He was born February 9, 1918 a son of the late Fred and Rose Brody Dreyer. He was a retired mail carrier for the US Postal Service. Bill graduated from the last class (1936) of Wells High School and was a member of Steubenville Lodge 45 F&AM. He served in the Army during WWII. Preceding William in death were a brother Fred and sister Elsie Hawkins. Surviving are his wife Mildred I. Sloan Dreyer; children Shirley (Raymond) Judson, Karen (Dennis) Staley, William D. Dreyer, and Peggie (John) Palmer; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; two brothers Elmer Dreyer and Kenneth (Michele) Dreyer; and two sisters Edith Moody and Rose Harsha. Friends may call at Apostolic Gospel Church, 365 Central Court, Steubenville (740.282-2213) on Thursday 6-9 p.m. and on Friday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. services with Pastor Robert Wood officiating. Memorials may be directed to Apostolic Gospel Church.
