Wilda Jane Vittek 80 of Steubenville, Ohio died Thursday, August 1, 2002 in the ER at Trinity West. She was born in Steubenville on March 20, 1922 a daughter of the late James L. and Marie Wells Grubbs. She was a member of Holy Name Cathedral and a former member of American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Wilda retired as Deputy Auditor for City of Steubenville and also served in Steubenville License Bureau. She was preceded in death by one brother James R. Grubbs in 1960. Surviving are her husband Paul C. Vittek and they were married 57 years ago on May 8, 1945 in the Church of SS Peter and Paul in Cumberland, MD; one daughter Mary Kaye (Alan) Harris of Parma, Ohio; one grandson Michael Alan Harris of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and one sister Grayce (Harry) Williams of Steubenville. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Saturday 2-4 and from 6 p.m. until time of services at 8:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev.
