Wilbert J. “Butch” Irwin, 92 died Sunday July 8, 2018 at Villla Royale.
He was born April 8, 1926 in Wintersville, Ohio a son of the late Wilbert G. & Mary C. Bridgman Irwin. Butch retired from Weirton Steel Co. in 1982 as a truck operator. He attended Kolmont Church and was a member of the 25 Year Club and Antique Car Club and served in the Navy during WWII. Preceding Butch in death were his wife Virginia on April 22, 1998 and sister Catherine Eddy.
Butch is survived by his children Lorna (Bill) Flesher and son David Irwin; companion Berna Kopras; grandchildren Michael (Tanya) Flesher & Sandy (Kevin) Grimes; great grandsons Kody Grimes, Landon Grimes & Cayden Flesher; and great great grandson Carl Grimes.
