Wayne S. Grimm, 72, of Steubenville, Ohio died Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at Carriage House. He was born September 5, 1933 the only child of the late John W. and Dorothy V. Pittenger Grimm. Wayne was a retired human resources director for A.E.P. He held membership at Wintersville U.M. Church and Steubenville Elks Lodge 231. He served in the US Army and was a very active member of the former Steubenville Jaycees. Wayne is the beloved husband and best friend of Lu George Grimm, her children David (Diane) Cusick of Wintersville and Joyce (Bob) Ellis of Columbus; father of Jeff W. (Judy) Grimm of Gahanna, Ohio, Greg W. (Margaret) Grimm of Columbus, Ohio, Janet S. (Gus) Maragos of Hilliard, Ohio, and their mother Donna Chappell Grimm of Richmond, Ohio; grandfather of seven and great grandfather of one. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.; where services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Clint Quillen and Dr. Mark George officiating. Entombment at Fort Steuben. Memorials may be directed to Valley Hospice, Inc. or American Heart Assn. Ohio Valley Veterans Memorial Squad will conduct services at the cemetery chapel.
