Warren R. “Squeak” "Pete" Peterson, 85, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away on Wednesday July 14, 2021. He was born December 9, 1935 in Wintersville a son of the late William R. & Mary Shannon Peterson. Squeak was a 1955 graduate of Wintersville High School and served in the Marine Corps. He retired from Federal Paperboard and State Park Auto. He was a member of Unionport U.M. Church the Knights of Pythias. Squeak was preceded in death by his parents; wife Marie Elaine Rogan Peterson; brother Thomas and former wife and mother of his sons Marlin Hukill Peterson.
Surviving are his two sons Warren R. (Kim) Peterson, Jr. and Todd R. (Nina) Peterson; 5 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; siblings Lucretia (late William) “Toots” Ross & David Peterson.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Friday, July 23, 2021, from 3-6 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. with Rev. Charles Mehl officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben Burial Estates.
