Obituary For Warren L. Bell

Warren L. Bell, 87, of Steubenville, Ohio passed away Sunday, August 26, 2018 at his home. He was born in Broadacre, Ohio on August 29, 1930 a son of the late Roy and Bertha Jackson Bell. Warren retired from Wheeling-Pitt Steel where he worked in the blast furnace. He was a veteran of the Air Force. Preceding Warren in death were his wife Myrtle M. Louise “Punch” Bell; son Bill Bell; son-in-law Neal Jackson and four sister Betty Carte, Marie Schulthies, Wilma McCullom and Jean Smith. Surviving are his children Mary Jackson of Wintersville, OH, Sandy (Andy) Easton of Steubenville, OH and Jerry Bell of Steubenville, OH; daughter-in-law Angie Bell of Chester, WV; sister Dora Striker of Richmond, OH; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; all of his euchre buddies from various places; special friend Jeannie Shipley and several nephews, nieces and cousins he loved dearly. Friends may call at Dunlope – Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Wednesday 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. where a funeral service will be held on Thursday 10 a.m. with Pastor Ray Cooper officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben.

    Prayers to the family. I grew up on a farm near Warren and Myrtle and remember them well. We called our area "Dog Town" I will remember them always.
