I was saddened to read of Gordon Mansfield's passing and I send the family my sympathy. We have not yet met so let me introduce myself. I am Joanne Murdock Stives. My husband and I moved back to nearby Hopedale after living in NJ for 50 years. I'll always remember when my niece discovered the Mansfield website. I have visited the website many, many times and am so thankful it was created. I emailed with Gordon from NJ and have talked with him since we moved here. He mailed me the book of the Mansfield Genealogy and I am very appreciative that he did. My Great Grandma was Amanda Mansfield Hervey. Please feel free to email if I can do anything to help maintain the website.

So sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I have not seen him in years but he and your grandparents shared half a house with my parents, Katherine & Jim Graham (of course, this was before I was born) I think I might have some pictures of your Dad when he was young - if I find them I will try and get them sent to you. Now he & Gary will have some good times again. God Bless

Barbara you have my deepest sympathy. Your dad and I grew up together in Blooming dale and were best friends. We joined the Air Force together and went thru basic trainung together in Texas. I opted to get out and go to college but you dad made a career of it. I haven't seen your dad since right before he went back to marry your Mother and go to their new base in Maine. We have corresponded vis internet and spoke on the phone. I know he was very upset about your mom's and Gary's passing. I had no idea he was ill and hadn't heard from him in a while. I had just told my wife his birthday was coming up in a month. I just turned 72 and he was going to be 73. I am sorry that we haven't me. I get back occasionaly my sister still lives in Cadiz. We live on Whidbey Island north of Seattle about 50 miles. You take care and if your ever up this way please come and see us. Peace, Doug Tipton
