Von Rugo P. Stuckemeyer, 83 of Wintersville, Ohio died Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at Trinity West. She was born September 28, 1926 in Steubenville a daughter of the late Ernest & Edna Belknap Peter. After graduating from Steubenville High School in 1944, Von entered the U.S. Air Force Fighter Division, serving her country as a civilian stationed at Wright Patterson in Dayton, Ohio. She was a member of Wintersville U.M. Church and Civic Choral Society. Von was the retired vice-president of the savings department at M&M Bank. She was preceded in death by her brother Ted N. Peter. Von is survived by her beloved and devoted husband Lester E. “Les” Stuckemeyer; sister Mary McGeehan of Richmond, OH; four nephews; one niece; and several great nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Friday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. where services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday. Burial at Maple Grove Cemetery, Dover, OH. Memorials may be directed to Wintersville U.M. Church Elevator Fund.
