The best Gram. We took her out for Mexican on her 90th birthday and they sang to her with a huge sombrero on her head. She was so embarrassed but her great grandkids loved it!She would always rush in to make up the bed when you first got up so you wouldn't have to do it. When we would play kitchen, she wore the green and white gingham bag on her head like a chef hat. She had to have her tea HOT and I ate many bowls of ice cream or Klondike bars in her sun room watching Jeopardy or doing the daily crossword puzzle. She liked her bread drawer, so for all her years she hand washed dishes instead of giving up the space for a dishwasher. She always worried about us when we traveled, so we continued to make surprise visits for the last decade or so. Always with a sparkle and tears of joy in her eyes. Gram, I love you forever!
