Virginia I. Mansfield 86 of Bloomingdale, Ohio died Sunday, September 21, 2003 at Lancia Villa Royale. She was born in Bloomingdale on October 11, 1916 a daughter of the late Paul T. and Pearl Tipton Mansfield. She was a member of Bloomingdale U.M. Church and was the former Postmaster in Bloomingdale. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband William Glen Mansfield, whom she married on December 17, 1936 and he died on October 18, 1995; and one sister Marjorie Murray on December 3, 1995. Surviving are two sons William Gordon (Eiko) Mansfield and Gary James Mansfield both of Bloomingdale; one granddaughter Barbara (David) Mansfield Newlin of Bloomingdale and two nieces Sondra Schultz of Cleveland, Ohio and Judy (Bob) Newburn of North Carolina. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where services will be held at 12:30 p.m. with Rev. Debra Kellar officiating.
