Virginia B. “Honey” Hatcher, 88, of Wintersville, Ohio, died Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at her residence. She was born September 30, 1921 in Steubenville, Ohio a daughter of the late Abraham and Aura Lee Evans. She was a member of Wintersville United Methodist Church. Honey was preceded in death by her husband John T. Hatcher, Sr., grandson Paul E. Gundrum II and two brothers Foster and William Evans. Surviving are her son John T. (Donna) Hatcher, Jr.; daughter Linda (Paul) Gundrum; three grandchildren John (Jodi) Hatcher, Scott Hatcher and Tod (Beth) Gundrum of Columbus, OH; three great grandchildren Courtney Hatcher, Tessa Gundrum and Blane Gundrum and sister Goldie (Robert) Gribben of Jensen Beach, FL. A private service will be held at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville. Burial at Fort Steuben. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to Wintersville United Methodist Church, 702 Main Street, Wintersville, OH 43953.
