  Carol, I don't know if you remember me or not. I went to Business College with you. Your Parents seemed like such nice people & wonderful Parents to you. You have my deepest sympathy. My Mother passed away in 2004 & it has left such a void in my life. But we know that they are looking down on us. I will pray that you will continue to keep the faith. Also, I would like to say what a wonderful Husband you had. I was going through a divorce many years ago & started to take classes @ JCC in order to obtain credits to go to college. I was referred to him & how helpful he was. He said,"Oh, there are a lot of older students here". Well, the first few days I was questioning that but then I met several students my age. Mr. Mackey answered all of my question & assured me that I would succeed. He was a very nice person. You were very lucky. God Bless & again, you have my sincere sympathy. Pam Cucarese

  Dear Carol Jean, I have been praying for you because I know that you and your mother had a close relationship. You were friends as well as mother and daughter. Most of all, she was your spiritual mentor. Our mothers were cut from the same cloth; their goal was to raise children who loved Jesus. Also, thank you for sharing Violet with all of us in Junior Church. She numbers among those who influenced my faith. Love, June

  Violet was like a second mom to me...that was her gift..the ability to make you feel special. She was probably the most unselfish person I have ever known. Our loss will be heaven's gain. Ollie and Violet were such a wonderful couple...Carol Jean has been blessed having such great parents..as someone once said.."No 2 Christians will ever meet for the last time"... God Bless

  We will all miss Aunt Violet a lot. I can remember exchanging letters with her and how she always remembered birthday's. She would send my girls a card with a dollar in it and they thought that was so fantastic. Here was someone they didn't really know sending them money for their birthday.   Carol- Marilyn Rotella called me last night when I was at work and told me your mom had passed away. I am so sorry to hear about her but I know she is in a much better place. I noticed her birthday is the same day as my twin brothers Dec. 22. I have kept you and your family and her in my prayers. Take care and God be with you.
