Obituary For Verla Mae Eddy

Verla Mae Eddy, 78, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away Friday, March 30, 2012 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.  She was born January 5, 1934 in Steubenville, Ohio a daughter of the late Wilbert and Beatrice McGrew Ferguson.  Verla was preceded in death by an infant daughter Tammy Eddy and her brother Robert Ferguson.  Surviving are her husband Thomas L. Eddy; two daughters Carol (Rickie) Caputo and Terri (Robert) Kirkpatrick; two grandchildren Terra Caputo and Daniel Voght and brother Jerry (Patricia) Ferguson.  Friends may call at Fort Steuben Burial Estates Chapel on Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at Noon with Rev. Jerry Ernst officiating with burial to follow.  Arrangements handled by Dunlope - Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville.

    Dear Tom, Carol, and Terri. I just learned of Verla passing. I am so so sorry I would have been there for you all. May the peace of the Lord be with you during this difficult time.     Hi Tom, I haven't seen you or Verla since our WHS days. I noticed the obit from the Herald Star listing. My husband died 8 1/2 years ago so I realize the sadness that goes along with the passing of a long loved mate. I send condolences to you and your family. Jane
