Vera V. Kasper 82 of Myrtle Beach, S.C., formerly of Wintersville, OH died Wednesday, October 27, 2004 at her residence of natural causes. She was born in Fulton County, PA on November 27, 1921 the daughter of the late William D. and Mary E. Ritchey Mellott. Preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Kasper on October 13, 1992 and three brothers, Russell, Harper and Marion Mellott and two sisters, Jessie Turner and Blanche Lee. Vera was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Steubenville and was a homemaker. She is survived by two daughters, Julie (Richard) Burris, with whom she resided, of Myrtle Beach, S.C. and Ruth (Larry) Prekup of Follansbee, WV. Four grandchildren, Anna LaRue, Andrew and Katherine Burris and Danielle Prekup and a great grandson, Joshua Kimble. Friends may call at the Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, OH on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m., additional calling on Saturday from 11:30 till the time of funeral services at 12:30 at St. Mark Lutheran Church.
