Even though you were best friends with my sister Teresa, we never met until my Doberman ran out into the road and flipped Dan off his dirt bike. I was scared you would sue me but instead you were very understanding and didn't blame me. That was the beginning of years of friendship. We had so many long talks when we stayed together at the Prairie Peddler festival and I got to know what a wonderful person you were. We had fun times in your basement when we would all get together to do crafts. I have so many great memories of you that I will cherish for years to come. I love and will miss you always.

I have so many fond memories of Aunt Jay! She had a great sense of humor - I loved her laugh! Here is a poem that always brings me comfort when I lose a loved one:Gone From My SightI am standing upon the seashore. A ship, at my side, spreads her white sails to the moving breeze and starts for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength.I stand and watch her until, at length, she hangs like a speck of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other. Then, someone at my side says, "There, she is gone." Gone where? Gone from my sight. That is all. She is just as large in mast, hull and spar as she was when she left my side. And, she is just as able to bear her load of living freight to her destined port. Her diminished size is in me -- not in her. And, just at the moment when someone says, "There, she is gone,"there are other eyes watching her coming, and other voices ready to take up the glad shout, "Here she comes!" And that is dying...
