Valerie H. Nelson, 85, of Steubenville, Ohio died Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Trinity West. She was born April 12, 1930 in Wheeling, WV a daughter of the late Mike and Rose Tomalanis Davis. Surviving are her children Marlene (Geno Tate) Miller of Steubenville, OH, Frank (Becky) Ferkol of Louisburg, NC, Greg Heldreth of Steubenville, OH, Arron (Jennifer) Heldreth of Steubenville, OH and Chanda Petrella of Wintersville, OH; six grandchildren Shawn Ferkol, Summer Matics, Heather Heldreth, Buck Heldreth, Brandy Perella and Briany Petrella; sister Helen Hall; many great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews . A private service will be held at the convenience of the family at Dunlope – Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville.
