Tom “Tommy” Koniski, 66, of Steubenville, Ohio died Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Trinity West ER. He was born December 6, 1947 in Weirton, WV a son of the late Stanley A. and Verna Poprik Koniski. He worked 30 years for Volvo. Tom loved fishing, going to flea markets and spending time with his grandchildren. Tom was preceded in death by many aunts and uncles. Surviving are his daughter Carman Koniski of Charleston, SC; son Cristopher Koniski of Steubenville, OH; five grandchildren Edward Mendes, Jr. of Charleston, SC, Wolfegang Koniski of Shelby, OH, Skye Koniski of Shelby, OH, Jayden Pruett-Koniski of Steubenville, OH and Calvin Pruett-Cummins of Steubenville, OH; two brothers Butch (Connie) Koniski of Wintersville, OH and William Koniski of Wintersville, OH; three uncles John Koniski of Steubenville, OH, Joseph Koniski of Wintersville, OH and Ted Koniski of Wintersville, OH and two aunts Sophie Pavel of Weirton, WV and Adeline (Tony) Betti of Las Vegas, NV. Friends may call at Dunlope - Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville on Wednesday 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 p.m. where a funeral service will be held Thursday 10 a.m. with Pastor Don Anderson officiating. Entombment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
