  I WILL DEEPLY MISS YOU TOM. OUR FRIENDSHIP HAS SPANNED FOR 50+ YEARS. WE'VE PLAYED SPORTS TOGETHER, WE'VE SOCIALIZED TOGETHER, WE'VE RAISED OUR KIDS TOGETHER, WE'VE BEEN THROUGH GOOD AND BAD TIMES COMFORTING EACH OTHER, AND IN OUR LATER YEARS, THERE WASN'T A 2-3 DAY PERIOD THAT WE DIDN'T CALL AND TALK.   I want to convey my deepest sympathies to the family of Tom. I know you probably don't know me but I knew Ero since the mid sixties. He was a great person and a great man. I can't think of Tommy without smiling because of the wonderful energy and shear joy he brought to everything and everyone he touched.I was so looking forward to seeing him again at our next class reunion and it won't be the same without him .   Joann, Just one of Tom�s old but good U of D friends checking in. It has been a lot of years since we�ve seen you (the visit to Detroit and the Zoo with all of the kids in 1974). Tom was unique and had a goodness about him. I cried when I heard the news which does not happen often at my age when you�ve lost several classmates and friends.
