Tina Christine Riley, 52, of Wintersville, Ohio, died Sunday, February 24, 2013 at her residence following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born February 13, 1961 in Steubenville, Ohio a daughter of the late William E. Mushrush and Rosemary Crouch Mushrush Gibson of Toronto, Ohio. She was also preceded in death by a grandson Lucian Prekup and a brother Robert “Bob” Mushrush.Tina was a career U.S. Navy Veteran, serving in the capacity of Radioman Operator. She is survived by her husband of 31 years James L. Riley who resides at home; children, Jamie (Matt) Prekup of Wintersville, James (Hannah) Riley Jr., of Colorado, and Justin (Rachael) Riley of California; four grandchildren whom she loved and adored so much; a brother Bill Mushrush of Toronto, OH and sisters Rose (Del) Miller of Toronto, OH and Lisa Mushrush of PA.Friends may call at the Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Wednesday from 3 – 6 p.m., where funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. Rev. Dr. John Beard will conduct services in the funeral home chapel, followed by full military honors by Ohio Valley Veteran’s Memorial Squad. Burial will take place in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA.
