Thomas W. “Tucker” Phillips, 75, of Steubenville, OH passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at The Laurels in Steubenville. He was born in Steubenville on April 15, 1948 a son of the late Lloyd and Kathleen McClain Phillips. Tom retired from Weirton Steel after 30 years where he worked as a yardmaster. He also worked for Thompson Country Florist in Wintersville. He was a member of Moose Lodge #1564 Wellsburg Lodge, Wintersville Legion Post #557, 1966 graduate of Steubenville High School and served in the Army Reserves. Tucker was an avid Big Red fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother Jerry and infant sister Cathy Jo. Tucker is survived by his sister Sandy Weiher; nieces Jodi Marquis, Tracy (Pete) Sergakis and Karey (Stan) Albaugh; 4 great nieces and 4 great nephews, 1 great great niece and his beloved cat Butter Ann. Tom wished for no services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jefferson County Humane Society.
