Thomas (“Tom”) M. Paul of Wintersville, Ohio passed away on Dec. 31, 2012 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, where he received compassionate care. He was 69 years old. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary (Hrin) Paul; father, George Paul, Sr.; father in law Silvio Lupinetti; and grandparents Theodore and Mary Paul, and Mike and Bertha Hrin. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Sylvia (Lupinetti) Paul. They were married in Weirton, WV on October 26, 1963. Tom Paul will be affectionately remembered by his daughter, Lorrie Paul Crum of Greensburg, PA; grandchildren Angela Crum and Kevin Crum II, both of Akron, Ohio; brother, George Paul, Jr. and sister in law Rosemary Paul of Weirton, WV; sister, Maryella (Paul) Dorsey and brother in law Jim Dorsey of Burgettstown, Penn.; brothers in law Charles Lupinetti of Steubenville and Stephen Lupinetti of Pittsburgh; niece Lynn (Dorsey) Patchin of Weirton; and nephews Timothy Jon Paul of Raleigh, NC, Jim Dorsey of Imperial, Penn., and Tom Dorsey and Brian Paul, both of Weirton and mother-in-law Angela DeGregory Lupinetti of Steubenville. He also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Born in Weirton, WV on Sept. 5, 1943, Tom Paul went to Weir High and served as a motor inspector at Weirton Steel for 40 years. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, picking mushrooms and riding with Goldwing Chapter V2 of Wintersville, Ohio. He took great pride in and loved spending time with his daughter and grandchildren. Baptized in the Catholic faith, he was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church of Wintersville. Visitation will be held at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home at 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, OH on Friday, Jan. 4, 2013 from 4-8p.m., where funeral services will be held Saturday, 10a.m. with Msgr. Kurt Kemo officiating.
