Thomas J. “T.J.” Porter, 34, of Steubenville, Ohio went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, April 15, 2009. He was born September 4, 1974 in Steubenville, Ohio. T.J. attended JVS for electronics and graduated from Mingo High School. He was a member of Finley United Methodist Church, accepting Jesus Christ as Lord of his life in September of the past year. T.J. was a member of the PNA and an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. His love for children was ever present. He had a love for four wheelers not only to ride but to repair and rebuild them as well. He had a love for animals especially his cat, Lucky, who was always near when he worked on the bikes. Surviving are his parents Joseph and Helen Porter and Jackie Reynard; two brothers; five sisters and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville Friday 3 - 5 & 7 - 9 p.m. and on Saturday at Finley United Methodist Church from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 10 a.m. with Rev. Jerry Ernst officiating. Burial at New Alexandria Cemetery.

T.J. meant a lot to me and I will miss him greatly but I know that he is in a better place now...he was a great guy and I will always love him.
