Thelma A. Claypole 93 of Wintersville, OH died Thursday, July 22, 2004 at Lancia Villa Royale, Steubenville. She was born in Uphsur County, WV on August 8, 1910 a daughter of the late Elda Waugh Jefferies. She was a member of the former United Brethern in Christ Church, Steubenville. Thelma was preceded in death by her husband Hugh Claypole on July 27, 1964, son Robert H. Claypole, brother Russell “Pat” Waugh, sister Mary Ware. She is survived by her daughter Ruth Gump of Wintersville, daughter-in-law Eunice Claypole of Avon Park, FL, grandchildren Thelma Vein, John Claypole and Sheila Riffle, great grandchildren Robert Vein, Holly Claypole, John Allan Riffle, Amanda Claypole, great great grandchildren Abby and Sara Vein, Jordan and Wade Manns, several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, OH on Friday from 4-9p.m., where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1p.m. with Rev. James Schoonover officiating. Burial at Union Cemetery, Steubenville. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
