Obituary For Terrance A. "Terry" Morgan

Terrance A. "Terry" Morgan, 68, of Steubenville, Ohio passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, July 23, 2017. He was born July 28, 1948 in Steubenville, OH a son of the late William F. and Elizabeth Hickey Morgan. Terry was a graduate of Steubenville High School and proudly served aboard the USS Dewey in Vietnam as a sea and air rescue specialist. He was also former commander of the VFW Weirton Post. He retired from Weirton Steel Corporation after 32 years where he was an electrician. Terry was preceded in death by his sister Mary V. Morgan. He is survived by and was the loving father of his children Chad (Mary) Morgan of Waterford, MI, Tracy (Mark) Kosar of Spring Hill, TN, Shawn Morgan and Saundra Wurster of Pittsburgh, PA and Pablo Ponce of Steubenville, OH. He is also survived by fiancé Valerie Ponce of Steubenville, OH; four brothers Sid (Janice) Morgan of Bloomsburg, PA, James T. Morgan of Woburn, MA, Charles (Kim) Morgan, Wintersville, OH, and David W. Morgan of Steubenville, OH and two sisters Kathleen (Glen) Zalenski of Bloomingdale, OH and Cynthia Morgan Reeves of Knightdale, NC. He was the devoted grandfather of Brady, Caitlin, and Kenna Morgan, Tristian and Alexei Kosar, and Connor Morgan, and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Dunlope – Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville Wednesday 6 – 8 p.m. where American Legion Post 10 will conduct military honors.

    We were on vacation, just got home and saw Terry had passed. We were classmates at SHS and also saw each other in our time at Weirton steel. Will never forget his kindness and quick humor. May he rest in peace. May God Bless Sincerely, Bill Walters
