I would like to send my deepest sympathy to the Lohr family. Ted and I were in the Big Red Band together and a sixties rock band "The Undertakers." How appropriate!! He added a special chemistry to any group he was with and I know his family will miss him deeply. I am a pastor in Michigan and had a chance to share some time with him at a reunion of the Undertakers. God bless and Keep you. Dr. Keith J. Wise, Sr. Minister-St. Louis Church of Christ- Professor of Ancient History/Religion Alma College- Alma Michigan

Carol, It was such a shock and so very saddening when we received the news of Ted's passing. My heart is with you at this time as I can only imagine your grief and sorrow. Please give our condolences to your family and know that our prayers are with you. It was so good to see both of you at the last reunion and see Teddy able to be in such good spirits. Ted along with the Undertakers were such an important part of my high school years. Currently we are on vacation and will not be able to get back in time to be there with you. We will be in touch after we get back. With God's love and support, Paul

Carol, Paul and I are in Floria and just learned of Ted's passing. We are heart sick and wish that we could be there this weekend. I am so glad that "The Undertakers" were able to have their reunion, and that I was able to see him and you again. I left Steubenville in my sophomore year and did not get to participate in that time with my friends. I remember you and my mother, Jerry, were such good friends, and I remember Teddy. It hurts my heart to hear of this sadness for you and the family. I pray for God's strength to lift you all up, and remind you of the good memories he left behind. God's blessings to the family, and especially to you, his mother, at this time. Paul and I are praying for you...Lynda (Mapel) Atkinson

To the Lohr Family- I have been living in Florida and I just learned of Ted's passing. I was saddened to hear of it. A rush of school memories returned. I enjoyed being around Ted and Mike during high school and will remember the horn band just after college with Ted playing that great trombone. That music echoes in my ears. May you all be comforted at this time and always keep his memory in your hearts. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. May Ted rest in eternal peace. Bob Giannamore

Dear Mom, Dee, Missy and the rest of the family. I am so very sorry about Ted. I had always hoped and prayed that he would get better. I'm sorry that after I left town I didn't stay in more contact with all of you, but you all were always in my thoughts. I am also very sorry I can not make it home for the funeral. If I was in TN I would have driven home in a heartbeat to be there. I love you all and will be back in Steubenville in about 3 weeks. Carol...hugs, thoughts, prayers and all my love sent to you. To the Lohr family, I am so sorry to hear of Ted's passing. I was manager of The UnderTakers for a while at Big Red. I have such fond memories of Ted, his cool in every situation, his wry humor and impish smile, his gifts as a musician. I haven't seen him since those years, but his memory is, and will continue to be, clear and one I treasure. Bob Eiland

Dear Carol and Family, I was saddened to hear of Ted's passing. Ted and I go way back...playing together in the Steubenville High School Band and Orchestra and then getting back together during our college years to put a horn band together called "Everyday People".
