Susan Mary Hickle, 73, of Ironton, Ohio passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at her residence. She was born in Steubenville on December 29, 1951, the daughter of the late Charles T. & Ruth E. Thomas Hickle, Sr. Preceding Susan in death were her three brothers Charles Jr., David (Debby) and Fredrick Hickle.

The Hickle family lived in Goulds, outside of Steubenville. She later moved to live with her aunt Helen Adkins in Flatwoods, KY for one year, then on to Close to Home in Ironton. She was looked after by her cousin Martin Keith Adkins and family, aunt Helen and cousin Laura O’Neal and family.

Susan was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates and loved cats.

Susan is survived by many nieces and nephews, including D.J. (Kate), Matthew (Sarah), Jeremy (Patti), Corinna (Bill Moore); and many other great nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. with Rev. William Westling officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben.
