My heart is heavy right now. I am proud to say that we were friends. She was such a beautiful person, inside and out. She didn't know a stranger. Always had good words to say to everyone. Heaven is happy today to receive such a wonderful spirit.

Shaney, I will always remember Susan before she got sick. We shared a special friendship throughout the years and I loved her so. We would stay with her when we returned to Steubenville and she was always so much fun to be around, full of life. That is how I choose to remember Susan. I will forever miss her. Love, E.J. (the other one)

My deepest sympathy to Susan's family and dear friends. I will always remember her as being so sweet and nice. She had a special sense of humor and was so much fun to be around! I was a cheerleader with her and will always remember her as being a real pro! She loved the Warrior teams! The last time I was with her was awhile ago at a class reunion after party and we talked and laughed all night. Susan, you will always be remembered.

I wish first to extend my deepest sympathies to the family and loved ones of Susan. Esp. to you Shaney. I watched you grow up. And to you, Susan, my friend of many years, I remember the good times. There were many peaks and valleys in your life, you had so many struggles as we all do. But I remember those golden years when we were young. Hiking during the autumn seasons. Talking quietly outside under the warm summer stars. Our long discussions of life and even the after life. You were always searching and wanting to learn. So now you are in that special paradise. And I am sure all the animals you loved are also with you. I will always remember you in the happiest of times. Look down on me and smile and if possible, visit me in my dreams. Love you sweetie. <3

Susan, I am heartbroken that you are gone! We were best friends and neighbors since you were about 5. I reminisce about all the times we played as children; Barbie Dolls, sleep overs, swimming; on up to talking about boys and marriage. After college, we spent some mischievous times together but what great memories I have of you! Your greatest legacy was having and raising Shaney! But there were some very unfortunate events in your life and I remember driving from Columbus, to visit, from time to time. When you went to the nursing home, I knew I couldnt crash on your little sofa anymore and things went downhill from there. I am so glad you were in my life and I will always remember your positive outlook, that great laugh, and most of all, you loving relationship! Rest in Peace my friend!

To Susan's Family: Please accept our deepest sympathy on this terrible loss. We knew Susan for many years and remember her love for animals, especially dogs. She did not have an easy life, so I'm hoping that God has released her from her many struggles and pain. May she rest in peace and rise in glory! In Christ, Father Geoffrey and Cheryl Wild

I didn't know susan very well but my brother bob did. I visited susan every day I worked at lancias.2010. Very happy and always smiling. She loved drinking sprite. We discussed her love for animals as we straightend up in her room. Several times my brother would take his dog over to see susan. Some days she was tired other days she would talk and talk. Very lovely lady and heaven has truly gained a loving angel!

To one of my dearest friends wbo I will never forget. We had such a great group of GOOD friends and we always had so much fun, no matter what we did. I can't ever remember ever having a fight about anything except maybe about a stupid guy. You were just as beautiful on the inside as on the outside, and that is how I will remember you. My heart goes out to your family and all who loved you. R.I.P my friend.

My dear sweet friend, where do I begin. I have thought about you & all the good times we had, several times throughout the years. The last time I talked to you we had made plans to get together & you got sick right after that. I really regret we didn't get to see each other before you got sick. I choose to remember the beautiful little blond cheerleader who was one of the best to ever come out of Wintersville High School. Your smile lit up a room. We had so many good memories that it would take me days to list them all. You & I both know them & can cherish them. I talk to you every night & we can reminence then. Until I see you again, sweet friend, tell Jim Morrison I said hi! (Anyone who knew Sue knew what a HUGE Doors fan she was)!!! Love you forever Susan!!
